A QUICK TREAT FOR ST. ANDREW’S DAY

Thanks to Outlander_Starz (and Sam Heughan and Adhamh O’ Broin) for the lovely Gaelic lesson!

“Speak Outlander, Lesson 1: Sassenach”

[And on a more sober note, please take a moment for prayer or kind thoughts in support of those killed, injured or bereaved by the dreadful helicopter crash in Glasgow yesterday.]

  1. Sam is cuter, but Adhamh has a more musical accent.

  2. WOW, Sam looks great as Jamie (and sounds great too)!

  3. Oh sooo yummie! Figured I may as well start reading from the beginning. Amazing how much you forget, nice to refresh the memory banks. Nice to also have a real face to Jamie.

  4. Thank you for making it clearer that the text of the post is an excerpt. That helped me avoid reading it! I am expecting my copy of Dangerous Women to arrive tomorrow (Dec 10) from amazon and am very anxious to read the story which I have long awaited.

  5. I have not read the book yet either. almost impossible when you work retail in the US for the holidays. But, I am looking for word to it now that they are over. Giving a sound or picture to them makes it that much better. And thank you for mentioning the men in the helicopter accident the all deserve to be remembered.
