Note that for 2024 I will be doing a small number of events due to my workload, as discussed in my “Happy New Year – 2024” blog entry.

Saturday, April 6, 2024 – FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA

Join Diana in person (or virtually from anywhere) at the 23rd annual Highland Tea hosted by the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society (NACHS). Get out your best hat and tea glam!

Paid tickets are required for both the live event and the virtual streaming option. See instructions below for each type of ticket, as they are purchased in different ways.

Event start time for in-person attendees is Noon (MST).

Event start time for attendees participating online through streaming is 2 p.m. (MST). Virtual tickets will join in for Diana’s talk and reading.

Diana-NACHS-tea-with-hat Join the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society (NACHS) for an intimate afternoon of refinement and literary exploration at their 23rd Annual Highland Tea!

Indulge in the timeless tradition of high tea. Engage in lively conversation and sample exquisite delicacies in the esteemed company of acclaimed author Diana Gabaldon (a third-generation native of Flagstaff).

This traditional afternoon tea includes sandwiches, scones and sweets, an open bar, followed by a talk and reading by Diana, the guest of honor! A raffle and silent auction will be held for those attending in person.

Sunday, May 19, 2024 – SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO

Diana Gabaldon will be an author guest at the Santa Fe International Literary Festival in beautiful, historic Santa Fe, gem of the Southwest. She will participate in an author session and a book signing.

The Santa Fe International Literary Festival “connects writers, readers, and thinkers—from around the world and close to home—in the celebration of words and story.” Julia Alvarez, Kai Bird, Anthony Doerr, David Grann, Hua Hsu, Patrick Radden Keefe, Anne Lamott, Tommy Orange, Tracy K. Smith, Hampton Sides, John Vaillant, Jesmyn Ward, and Javier Zamora are among the featured authors.

Diana will participate in a festival session titled “On Stage with Diana Gabaldon, Roxana Robinson and Douglas Preston” at the Santa Fe International Literary Festival, on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Description of session: Internationally bestselling author Diana Gabaldon, celebrated novelist and short story writer Roxana Robinson, and bestselling journalist and author Douglas Preston will discuss the star-studded collaborative novel FOURTEEN DAYS. Presented by the Authors Guild.

Book Signing:

Immediately following the “On Stage with Diana Gabaldon, Roxana Robinson and Douglas Preston” session, a book signing with Diana will begin at 3:35 p.m. (also on May 19) in the Festival Lobby. Beastly Books will provide new books for sale for the signing.

Session Types:

All sessions with authors at this literary festival are either:

“On-the-Big-Stage Session” – A 75-minute author talk. No other events are scheduled during a Big Stage Session.

“On-Stage Session” - A 60-minute author talk. Two or more sessions run concurrently. Diana will participate in an on-stage concurrent session on Sunday, May 19 at 2:30 p.m..

Ticket Types:

2023-santafefest-DG-Tira-Howard There are three types of tickets you may choose from, per person:

Individual Ticket – Admission to 1 author talk only. Prices range from $27.50 to $75.00 USD (depending on the seating you choose) for tickets to the session featuring Diana, Roxana Robinson, and Douglas Preston on May 19.

One-Day Ticket – Admission to six consecutive author talks on one day (Saturday, May 18 OR Sunday, May 19), with choice of concurrent sessions. Sunday-only tickets range from $159 (general admission for NM residents) to $429 USD for premium seats. At payment checkout, you need to choose the concurrent sesion featuring Diana, Roxana Robinson, and Douglas Preston on May 19 at 2:30 p.m. to obtain entry to that event.

Weekend Ticket – Admission to 13 consecutive author talks (May 17–19), with choice of concurrent sessions. Weekend Tickets range from $369 (general admission or New Mexico residents) to $969 USD, depending on your choice of seats. At payment checkout, you will need to choose the concurrent sesion featuring Diana, Roxana Robinson, and Douglas Preston to obtain entry to that event.
