New German eBook Release in April

brotherhood-blade-1Good news for German fans!

We changed German publishers last year, which caused a slight lag in the publication of some books, with the previous publisher no longer publishing one title and the new publisher not yet having released it again. But now LORD JOHN AND THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE BLADE (I don’t recall the German title, but I’m not looking it up, because I don’t like it and hope to persuade them to change it) is about to be released as an ebook again! It will also be released in a new print version, but that will happen a little later.

We’ve had a lot of inquiries about it from readers, so I’m very pleased to be able to tell you that the new ebook (by Droemer-Knaur) will be released in April—hope you enjoy it!

  1. Hi Diana,
the German title is Die Sünde der Brüder (the sin of the brothers), and I agee with you that this is not the best choice.
I first read it in German and later bought a volume in engish too. By now I generally prefer to read your books in the english version because no matter how well the translation is done some part the story is ineviteable lost and as a byproduct this provides me with a very wellcome oppertunity to train my English.
By the way I read yesterday that Brianna has been casted at last. In my opinion the actress looks like as if she will fit in very well.
    Best regards from Germany

  2. I loved your Outlander series . You followed up with Lord John Grey. My comment is you ended with Brianna coming to the ridge. Are you going to write a book about Jamie’s son William? I liked him.

    • Dear Mary–

The series isn’t over. You’ll hear more about William (and the others) in Book Nine, which I’m working on now. Hope you’ll enjoy it!

      Best,

      –Diana

  3. Hi Diana,

I watched the official trailer of Outlander ( Dragonfly in Amber) last night and I’m still haunted by
    its powerful images.
Even though they were only glimpses of what’s coming, they were very impressive.
The actors who seem to live their characters lives rather than playing them, the costumes and the scenery-
    everything was done to perfection.
If the second season of the show is as good as the trailer makes as expect, it will be an unprecedented achievement setting new , much higher standards for the ones that will follow.

I like the idea of Murtagh being aware of Clair’s knowledge of the future events.
Reading Dragonfly in Amber i suspected that Murtagh didn’t just follow his beloved godson blindly,
but because the story was told by Clair one could only speculate.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating the Outlander saga.
The Outlander world became my personal “parallel universe” I visit very frequently.

    With Best Wishes

    Ivona
